Everything was great. I spent four days in Rome, and they were all filled with the atmosphere of authentic medieval Italy. I'd also like to highlight the high level of professionalism of Armina, who works at reception. I witnessed a situation where another guest loudly and unfairly tried to accuse the hotel of substandard services that weren't actually the hotel's responsibility. Armina was very professional; she handled the situation with utmost politeness and courtesy. What I didn't like was that the street was noisy 24/7, but that's not the hotel's fault, it's the same for all hotels in this area.
Let’s begin with pros: location, location and location. 24/7 concierge service. There were few minor issues, staff was notified. They fixed it right away. Many of local historical attractions and shopping strips are with in reasonable walking distance or can be reached by train and bus. Rooms are clean, breakfast was included. Negative. You are paying for location. Hotel is small. Looks like a whole building section was demolished to be reconstructed as this hotel. As such plumbing can be better. Breakfast has small selection of food in comparison to other places I had been to. Scrambled eggs, two-tree choices of meat, bacon, and very good coffee, or cappuccino. Again, you are paying for location.
The stay was very pleasant and the receptionists were exceptionally friendly and caring. We experienced a great service and outstanding hospitality, since our Airbnb was overbooked and we had to find a room at 9 pm. We were welcomed with a warm smile, a calming atmosphere and professionalism. Besides that, the location is perfect for sightseeing, and you can also leave your luggage after checkout time at a safe place, permanently watched by the receptionist. The rooms had everything you needed and even though it is in the center, it was very peaceful and quiet to sleep there.
The location is perfect. I visited Rome last year and had a one day and a half to see as many places as I could, the location of the hotel helped walk to many places. The staff were friendly and nice. They helped me get to the airport as I had a morning flight. The room was good and the bed was comfortable. The wifi signal was a bit weak in my room though
Nice hotel at a perfect location in the centre of Rome, in between the Spanish steps and the Trevi fountain. It has a good price-quality considering the location. The hotel does not look so appealing from the outside, but on the inside it had a nice boutique-like style. The room looks nice, is clean, and has air-conditioning, as well as heating. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Some points of improvement: the bed is quite hard and uncomfortable, a mini fridge would be nice, and the temperature of the shower is quite variable, and no one likes a cold shower. Despite these points I would definitely come here again!
